Jimmie Dale Wilson Releases Beyond the Veil: The Work Continues

CAMERON, Mo., September 20, 2026 - Author Jimmie Dale Wilson has announced the release of "Beyond the Veil: The Work Continues," a faith-centered book exploring the sacred hope that God's work does not end at the grave. The book is now available in Kindle and paperback editions through Amazon at https://a.co/d/05ZcHO0D.

Written for readers seeking comfort, spiritual perspective, and a deeper understanding of eternal family connections, "Beyond the Veil" examines the spirit world, temple and family history work, salvation for the dead, the sealing power, and the continuing ministry of Jesus Christ on both sides of the veil. Wilson presents these subjects in an encouraging devotional style intended to help readers see death not as the end of God's purposes, but as part of a larger eternal plan.

Each chapter can be read as part of the complete book or on its own as a devotional. The book addresses grief, healing, covenant belonging, family history, and the responsibility of the living to remember and serve those who came before them. It invites readers to consider how discovering family stories, preserving names, and participating in sacred temple work can strengthen faith in Jesus Christ and draw generations together.

"My hope is that readers can open this book when they need encouragement, perspective, peace, or simply a reminder that Heaven is much closer than we sometimes realize," Wilson said. "The people who came before us are not forgotten, and the Lord's work continues with purpose, mercy, and love."

Wilson also reflects on his own family heritage as a direct descendant of Samuel Harrison Smith, an early missionary and the younger brother of Joseph Smith and Hyrum Smith. That personal connection adds a reflective dimension to the book's discussion of ancestry, discipleship, sacrifice, and the spiritual responsibility carried from one generation to another.

"Beyond the Veil: The Work Continues" is written from the author's personal faith and study. It is an independent work and is not an official publication of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

The book is intended for Latter-day Saint readers, Christians interested in life after death and eternal families, people engaged in genealogy or family history, and anyone walking through grief while seeking hope in Jesus Christ. Through scripture-based reflections and personal testimony, Wilson encourages readers to trust that God remembers every soul and that His redemptive work reaches beyond mortal life.
