Mantra Softech Launches MFS210 Optical Fingerprint Scanner at Global Fintech Fest 2026
The new-generation MFS210 optical fingerprint scanner was launched at Global Fintech Fest 2026 in Mumbai, India.
The MFS210 is the latest addition to Mantra Softech's fingerprint authentication and enrolment portfolio. Built on more than two decades of experience in biometric technology, the device is designed to deliver secure, reliable and fast fingerprint capture for Aadhaar, financial inclusion, enterprise identity and other authentication applications.
The MFS210 was officially unveiled at the Mantra Softech booth by Honourable Shri Saurabh Vijay, Chief Executive Officer of the Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI). Mr. Vijay is also a 1998-batch Indian Administrative Service officer of the Maharashtra cadre.
Built for Fast and Reliable Biometric Authentication
The MFS210 optical fingerprint scanner features a scratch-resistant sensor surface and is engineered for consistent fingerprint capture across demanding field and enterprise environments.
The device is designed to complete fingerprint enrolment or authentication in as little as two seconds, with a False Acceptance Rate (FAR) of less than 0.001%. Its built-in auto-capture functionality and image-quality checks help improve capture consistency and reduce unsuccessful authentication attempts.
Weighing approximately 105 grams, the compact scanner is suited for desktop, counter-based and portable biometric deployments. It connects to compatible systems through USB 2.0.
The MFS210 carries certifications and compliances including CE, RoHS, BIS and IP65/IP64, supporting its use across a wide range of biometric identity applications.
The device is also FBI PIV certified and supports ISO 19794-2:2005 for fingerprint minutiae data and ISO 19794-4:2005 for fingerprint image data interchange formats.
Following its unveiling at Global Fintech Fest 2026, the MFS210 is now commercially available for biometric enrolment and authentication deployments.
