Automotive Thermocouple Amplifier is an electronic module used for thermocouple signal processing. Its core function is to amplify, cold-junction compensate, filter and convert the weak millivolt-level electrical signal generated by a thermocouple into a standard signal that can be reliably read by an ECU, instrument, data logger or vehicle-mounted data acquisition system. It is neither a thermocouple probe itself nor a conventional automotive temperature sensor, but a signal processing unit in the thermocouple temperature measurement chain, responsible for converting weak raw temperature signals into recognizable electrical signals.

The upstream of Automotive Thermocouple Amplifier mainly includes thermocouple interfaces, amplifiers, ADCs, MCUs, CAN communication chips, power management devices, PCBs, connectors, housings and other electronic components. The midstream mainly covers the design and manufacturing of single-channel or multi-channel thermocouple amplifiers, EGT-to-CAN modules, thermocouple acquisition and conversion modules and related products. The downstream is mainly used in high-temperature measurement, signal conversion, data acquisition, safety monitoring and other automotive testing and vehicle electronic system scenarios.
