GoVia Alliance Group formalizes Interim Leadership - a Managing Partner in the chair, not a résumé.

GoVia Alliance Group formalizes Interim Leadership - a Managing Partner in the chair, not a résumé.

LAS VEGAS, NV - August 20, 2026 - GoVia Alliance Group, an operator-led supply chain and operations consulting firm serving U.S. mid-market companies, has formalized Interim Leadership (https://www.goviaalliance.com/interim-leadership) as a core service line, addressing a gap that becomes acute as distribution centers enter peak season with leadership seats unfilled.

GoVia Alliance Group puts a Managing Partner in the chair - a career operator, not a résumé - for one to six months.

There is no bench, no candidate pool, and no résumés to review. A Managing Partner of the firm takes the seat and runs the operation, accountable to the client, with the full firm behind them.

Timing drives the demand. A retained executive search for a permanent general manager properly takes 90 to 120 days or more. A distribution center that loses its operations leader in September does not have 120 days.

"An operations leader in August still has time," said Charlie Mangini, Managing Partner at GoVia Alliance Group. "The same leader in October has explanations. When a seat empties eight weeks before peak, somebody has to run the building Monday morning."

GoVia does not compete with executive search firms and has published a full comparison of the two approaches (https://www.goviaalliance.com/interim-vs-executive-search). Engagements run alongside a retained search, with the interim partner helping hire and onboard the permanent leader.

Engagements are scoped to operational complexity rather than facility size, with a defined mission, a weekly operating rhythm, and measurable exit criteria set on day one. Billing is a flat weekly rate.

The firm's five Managing Partners bring more than 130 years of combined operations leadership running distribution centers, fulfillment networks, and transportation.

Managing Value in Organisations
Managing Value in Organisations offers new ideas, starting by acknowledging that old thinking is now the first barrier to progress. It experiments with value creation to build a climate where new ideas have a chance to live. Those succeeding have the right mind-set: using new ways to organise effort, thinking and value, to produce independent self-managing staff, commitment, growth and agility.
