Pilates Cantabria Publishes Its 2026 Ranking of the Region's Studios and Finds Monthly Fees Range From 50 to 110 Euros

Santander, Spain - Pilates Cantabria, an independent editorial directory that compares pilates studios across the Spanish region of Cantabria, has published its 2026 ranking. The listing is based on 116 centres reviewed across 25 municipalities and on the analysis of 3,992 verified Google reviews. TOP FIVE

Five studios reach the highest editorial tier, rated "exceptional". Inspira Pilates & Movimiento, in Santa Cruz de Bezana, leads the ranking with a combined mat and equipment programme. Pilates Santander Center takes second place, offering mat and machine work together with pre-natal and post-natal classes. MIND PILATES STUDIO, also in Santander, is third, covering classical, contemporary and therapeutic pilates. Elite Pilates Santander is fourth, working with equipment and individual sessions. Pilates Studio Maria Alonso, in Ribamontan al Mar, completes the top five with mat and machine classes.

Roughly 54 centres in the region offer reformer or equipment-based pilates and a similar number offer mat classes, with studios also filtered by aerial, therapeutic and rehabilitation work, pre-natal and post-partum programmes and barre.

WHAT PILATES COSTS IN CANTABRIA

Alongside the ranking, the directory has published the price data collected during the review, in a market where fees are rarely displayed publicly. A monthly membership of two classes a week typically costs 73 euros, within a range of 50 to 110 euros. One class a week averages 44 euros a month and three classes a week 85 euros. A single group class costs around 15 euros and a private session around 39 euros, rising to 65 euros in the most expensive studios. A pass of ten group classes typically costs 114 euros, and ten private sessions 349 euros. Equipment-based reformer training sits between 69 and 100 euros a month, with 80 euros as the most common figure. The study also shows a clear geographical gap. In Santander, two classes a week cost an average of 87 euros a month and can reach 110 euros, making the regional capital the most expensive area in Cantabria. In the rest of the bay the same membership averages 65 euros, and across the rest of the region 69 euros. HOW THE STUDIOS ARE SCORED

Scores are produced using six public criteria: genuine pilates specialisation (30 per cent), verified reputation based on Google reviews weighted by volume (25 per cent), team credentials and certified instructors (15 per cent), price transparency (12.5 per cent), quality of service information (12.5 per cent) and contact accessibility (5 per cent). Inclusion in the directory is free and positions cannot be bought. Studios can submit or correct their information through the site's contact form, but no listing or ranking position is for sale, and every entry carries the date on which it was last verified.

"Pilates is one of the few consumer services where the price is almost never published before you walk through the door," said Antonio F., founder of Pilates Cantabria. "We collected the fees of every centre we could verify so that anyone in the region can see what a normal price looks like before committing to a membership, and so that studios that are transparent about what they charge are rewarded for it."

The directory organises studios by area, covering Santander and the bay, Torrelavega and the Besaya valley, the eastern coast including Castro-Urdiales, Laredo and Santona, the western coast around Suances and Cabezon de la Sal, and the Pasiego valleys and Campoo.
