VSOL Launches V3600G2-R 16-Port 10G Combo PON OLT for High-Capacity Access Network Deployment

The V3600G2-R integrates GPON, XG-PON, and XGS-PON coexistence on a single platform, enabling operators to gradually upgrade their networks from traditional GPON to 10G PON technologies without requiring major changes to existing optical distribution networks (ODNs). Each PON port supports multiple PON modes simultaneously, helping simplify network evolution and deployment.

Equipped with 16 Combo PON ports, 4×25GE SFP28 uplink ports, and 1×100GE QSFP28 uplink port, the V3600G2-R provides high-capacity connectivity for bandwidth-intensive applications. It features an 800Gbps backplane bandwidth and supports high-speed uplink transmission to meet the requirements of large-scale broadband access scenarios.

For network capacity expansion, the V3600G2-R supports flexible splitting configurations, including up to 1:256 split ratio for XG(S)-PON and 1:128 for GPON, allowing operators to efficiently serve more subscribers with optimized fiber resources.

Designed for carrier-grade reliability, the V3600G2-R adopts a dual AC power supply design with millisecond-level failover capability to improve service continuity. Its front-access power layout also simplifies equipment inspection and maintenance in high-density deployment environments.

In addition to high-speed access capabilities, the V3600G2-R integrates Layer 3 routing features, including host routes, subnet routing, ARP Proxy, RIP, and OSPF support. Security functions such as RADIUS/TACACS+ authentication and DHCP Source Guard help operators build more reliable and manageable access networks.

With its combination of multi-generation PON compatibility, high-capacity uplink options, and flexible deployment features, the V3600G2-R is suitable for various scenarios, including apartments, hotels, smart communities, and other high-density broadband access environments.
