Press release from: SWISSARTEXPO

From 2 to 6 September 2026, over 100 artists from around the world transform Zurich's Main Station into a lively stage for contemporary art - with free admission for all.

Once again, SWISSARTEXPO opens its doors this late summer and brings art to where life pulses: right into the middle of Zurich's Main Station. From 2 to 6 September 2026, over 100 artists from around the world present their works in the SBB Event Hall and invite the public on a journey through the full breadth of artistic creation - from painting and photography to sculpture and digital artworks. The exhibition is organised by ARTBOX.GROUPS GmbH.

What sets SWISSARTEXPO apart from classic trade-fair formats is its extraordinary location. Instead of taking place in remote halls, the exhibition unfolds where tens of thousands of people pass by every day. Art thus meets its audience directly in the flow of everyday life - informal, accessible and free of any barrier. Anyone walking through the station can pause for a moment and step into another world. It is precisely this combination of urban dynamism and focused contemplation of art that gives the event its special appeal.

Art and Celebration at the ART PARTY

On Saturday, 5 September 2026, the celebrations continue with the popular ART PARTY, which from 6:30 to 10:00 p.m. invites all guests to celebrate art and encounter together. A night full of music, art and inspiring conversations awaits visitors.

Free Admission - Art for Everyone

As always, admission to SWISSARTEXPO is free for all visitors. The exhibition offers an incomparable opportunity to enter into conversation with the artists, discover new works and experience art in a unique setting.

A complete list of the exhibiting artists can be found at www.swissartexpo.com/aussteller. Further information and details about the event are available on the official website at www.swissartexpo.com.
