Early-access tools invite food & sensory professionals to test new workflows: convert data, record flavor, play sensing timelines

Ajinomatrix today announced the public availability of a broader set of experimental applications across its MP6 Studio and BSPG-G ecosystems, opening a new testing layer for digital food innovation.

The new experimental workflow connects sensory spreadsheets, MP6 file creation, voice-recorded tasting impressions, sensory timeline playback, intuition-layer annotation and weak-signal food-production framing.

The invitation is simple:

Come and witness how the food digital revolution has already started - by testing the new Ajinomatrix experimental apps.

For years, food R&D, sensory science and product innovation teams have generated large amounts of valuable information: Excel sheets, panel exports, QDA tables, recipe trials, production notes, consumer feedback, supplier comparisons and batch reports.

But a pile of past experiments is not yet a memory.

Ajinomatrix's MP6 ecosystem is designed to help transform fragmented sensory data into structured, comparable, replayable and interpretable files.

MP6, short for Multi-Perception 6, is Ajinomatrix's emerging sensory file format for structuring product experience across six dimensions: sight, smell, taste, touch, sound and intuition / psychosensory response.

The current public MP6 toolchain allows users to convert sensory spreadsheets into MP6-compatible files, inspect and validate MP6 data, play sensory experience over time, record spoken or typed tasting impressions, and generate readable sensory reports.

"Food companies, researchers and product developers often have years of sensory data locked in spreadsheets and reports," said François Wayenberg, founder of Ajinomatrix. "MP6 Studio is designed to help transform those past experiments into manageable sensory history files - files that can be viewed, validated, played, recorded, reported and eventually reused as part of richer interpretative sensory databases."

The experimental tools now available include:

* MP6 Studio - a public toolchain for working with MP6 files.
* MP6 Converter - a browser-based tool for converting Excel, CSV and sensory spreadsheets into MP6-compatible files.
* MP6 Viewer and Validator - tools to inspect, visualize and check MP6-compatible files.
* MP6 Timeline Player - a tool to play sensory experience over time.
* MP6 Recorder - a tool for recording live or retrospective sensory impressions and transforming them into dynamic MP6 files.
* MP6 Report Generator - a tool for turning MP6 files into readable, shareable reports.
* BSPG-G Console - an experimental weak-signal framework demonstrator.

Two experimental BSPG-G lanes are now especially relevant to Ajinomatrix's sensory work.

The first is MP6 / BSPG-Intuition, which explores the sixth MP6 layer: intuition, emo-feel and psychosensory response. This layer may include subjective signals such as comfort, hesitation, trust, aversion, perceived mismatch, desire or concern.

The second is AJX + BSPG, an experimental food-production and food-resource risk-framing lane. It allows users to describe production uncertainty, sensory drift, batch discrepancy, supplier variation or anomaly narratives and explore how those weak signals may be structured for human review.

Ajinomatrix emphasizes that these features are early-access experimental tools.

They do not provide food-safety certification, production-line clearance, regulatory assessment, diagnosis, crisis prediction or professional advice. Food production, quality and safety decisions must continue to rely on validated QA/QC procedures, HACCP, laboratory testing, regulatory requirements and qualified professionals.

"These tools are not here to replace expert judgment," Wayenberg added. "They are here to explore how sensory data, human perception and weak signals can be structured more clearly before being reviewed by people who remain responsible for the decision."

The public tools are available at:

* MP6 Studio: https://mp6.studio
* MP6 standard and tool access: https://mp-6.org
* MP6 Recorder: https://record.mp6.app
* MP6 Timeline Player: https://player.mp6.app
* BSPG-G Console: https://www.bspg.app/#/g

Ajinomatrix invites feedback from sensory scientists, food technologists, flavourists, product developers, QA/QC professionals, researchers, educators and innovation teams interested in sensory file standards, AI-assisted sensory workflows and early weak-signal interpretation.

The long-term direction is clear: to move from isolated spreadsheets and tasting notes toward structured sensory memory - a historic interpretative database of product experience that can be converted, compared, replayed, recorded, reported and reviewed.

Ajinomatrix is a Belgian sensory intelligence company developing AI-powered software and MP6 tools for digitizing taste, smell and product experience. Founded by François Wayenberg, Ajinomatrix works at the intersection of sensory science, food innovation, product development, data interoperability and living-system experimentation.

The company's core mission is to transform sensory information - often trapped in spreadsheets, panel reports, recipe trials and production notes - into structured, reusable and interpretable data. Through MP6, short for Multi-Perception 6, Ajinomatrix is building an emerging sensory file format that can represent product experience across six dimensions: sight, smell, taste, touch, sound and intuition / psychosensory response.

Ajinomatrix's public ecosystem includes MP6 Studio, a browser-based toolchain for converting, viewing, validating, recording, playing and reporting MP6-compatible sensory data. Related experimental projects include the MP6 Timeline Player, MP6 Recorder, BioSphere living systems, Shokuiku-inspired education, AayuSense and BSPG-G weak-signal research demonstrators.

Ajinomatrix serves food innovators, sensory scientists, flavourists, product developers, researchers, educators and partners interested in AI-assisted sensory workflows, taste and smell digitization, product-experience data and the future of food intelligence.
