Specialist Staffing Group names Stefan Hirniak President as Matt McManus is promoted to Chief Commercial Officer
Specialist Staffing Group, today announced the appointment of Stefan Hirniak as President as part of a leadership transition that sees Matt McManus, move into the position of Group Chief Commercial Officer.
Hirniak steps into the President role from his current position as Executive Vice President of Sales, where he has led the firm's commercial growth across high-demand STEM sectors including life sciences, engineering and technology. Stefan joined Specialist Staffing Group in 2012 and built the company's Power & Renewables business before leading the Southwest region, and most recently serving as EVP of Sales for North America. As President, he will lead strategy, performance and operations of Specialist Staffing Group.
McManus takes the role of Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) role of Specialist Staffing Group's parent company with immediate effect, taking responsibility for the commercial organization across global markets. He joined Specialist Staffing Group's parent company in 1996 and has spent nearly 30 years with the business, progressing through senior commercial roles including Managing Director for the APAC region and Executive Vice President of Commercial Operations, before serving as President of Specialist Staffing Group, where he returned the Group's most enterprise-focused market to growth.
On his appointment Stefan Hirniak said: "I'm honored to step into the role of President of Specialist Staffing Group. Both appointments are effective immediately.
