Temp Mail Detector Launches Ghost CMS Integration to Block Disposable Email Signups

Block disposable email signups on your Ghost publication using TempMailDetector.com's native webhook integration.
Disposable email addresses inflate member counts and skew engagement metrics. Ghost publishers running paid newsletters are particularly exposed, as fake signups can trigger free trial abuse and distort conversion data. Removing them at the point of registration keeps lists clean without manual intervention.
The integration connects to Ghost via its built in webhook system. When a new member registers, Ghost sends the signup event to Temp Mail Detector, which checks the email domain against a continuously updated database of known disposable email providers. If a match is found, the member is either deleted or unsubscribed from all newsletters, depending on the publisher's configuration.
No code is required. Setup takes place entirely within the Ghost admin panel and the Temp Mail Detector dashboard. Learn more about the service and integration at https://tempmaildetector.com
Setup
In Ghost Admin, go to Settings > Integrations > Add custom integration and copy the Admin API key.
In the Temp Mail Detector dashboard under Plugins, enter the Ghost site URL and Admin API key, and select the preferred action when a disposable address is detected (delete or unsubscribe).
In the Ghost custom integration, add a webhook for the Member added and updated events using the target URL generated in the Temp Mail Detector dashboard.
Full setup instructions are available in the Ghost plugin documentation: https://tempmaildetector.com/documentation#plugin-ghost
Our list of detected providers can be found here: https://tempmaildetector.com/providers
