Up to 3,000 euros in healthcare funding for patients of alternative practitioners

Hamburg, Dautphetal, July 2026. The Hamburg-based insurance broker Healio GmbH and the portal heilpraktikerverzeichnis.com are now collaborating. Their shared goal: to help patients not only find the right naturopath but also learn how to finance their treatments without having to pay for everything out of pocket.

Many patients discontinue naturopathic treatments because they lack the funds. Yet very few realize that they are entitled to subsidies: By combining bonus programs from statutory health insurers with appropriate supplemental insurance policies, those with statutory health insurance can access a health budget of up to 3,000 euros over two years. The bonus from a single health insurance provider alone can exceed 700 euros.
