AOC AGON 240 Hz gaming monitor now available

Amsterdam, 3 March 2017 – AOC’s fastest AGON gaming monitor yet is now available in stores. The AOC AGON AG251FZ boasts a refresh rate of 240 Hz, 1 ms response time and Adaptive-Sync, ensuring super smooth gameplay without motion blur, screen tearing or stuttering. Premium features such as the AOC Ergo Dial Base and the AOC QuickSwitch controller offer an added level of comfort to competitive gamers.

Smoothness to the max
With its 25″ Full HD TN panel (16:9 format, 1920 x 1080 pixels), the AOC AGON AG251FZ is not just an attractive choice for esports contestants who want a slightly bigger screen than the standard 24″ size. It also offers them a blazing fast display performance. The 240 Hz refresh rate and 1 ms response time allow for extremely smooth gameplay and graphics without motion blur at any time, even in fast-paced scenes. In addition, Adaptive-Sync synchronises the display with compatible graphics cards in order to eliminate screen tearing or display-induced stuttering. Gamers looking for a maximum of responsiveness will also benefit from the AOC Low Input Lag Mode, which bypasses most of the monitor’s internal video processing. This way, players can see their control inputs reflected on-screen immediately, which can be a considerable advantage in competitive action games.

Like all monitors of the AGON series, the AG251FZ comes with a selection of premium features to increase comfort, wellbeing and performance of professional gamers. These include a retractable headset holder, the AOC Ergo Dial Base with tilt, swivel and height adjustment (height scale included) and a carry handle for easy transportation. Moreover, AOC Flicker Free technology reduces flickering to prevent eyestrain during extended gaming sessions. In order to adapt the display image to specific games, the AG251FZ also offers a variety of game modes (e.g. for FPS, racing and RTS titles) as well as the AOC Shadow Control option to brighten extremely dark areas without affecting the rest of the screen. The AOC QuickSwitch controller bundled with the monitor allows for easy adjustment of all settings on the fly.
