What is the fragile paper? Industry Trends and Best Practices

Fragile paper (eggshell stickers) is a highly secure anti-counterfeiting material [https://www.baijiasecurity.com/products/] that cannot be completely removed after being adhered and will crumble upon being torn. Its main functions include anti-tampering, anti-counterfeiting, and anti-modification. It is widely used in the packaging sealing and quality assurance labels of high-value products in industries such as electronics, healthcare, tobacco and alcohol, cosmetics, etc., to ensure the authenticity and integrity of the products during sales and after-sales processes.

Specific application scenarios include:

1. Warranty and warranty label: Applicable to mobile phones, computer accessories, automotive electrical appliances, etc. If the customer disassembers it by themselves, the label will break and serve as an invalid certificate.

2. Product sealing anti-theft: Applied to the sealing of paper boxes, bottle caps, and pharmaceutical packaging to prevent products from being opened without authorization.

3. Special Identification code: It is used for anti-counterfeiting identification of fixed assets to prevent labels from being transferred and reused.

The main features of fragile paper are as follows:

Extremely fragile and prone to breaking: The surface strength of the material is lower than the adhesive's bonding force. Once subjected to force and attempted to be removed, the paper will immediately break.

One-time use and anti-counterfeiting: The label cannot be completely peeled off. Once torn, it will break immediately, effectively preventing others from opening, swapping products or forging, achieving an anti-counterfeiting effect of "immediately stuck and immediately removed".

Special material: It belongs to a self-adhesive type. The back is coated with special strong glue, using release paper as the base material. The material itself is very brittle, commonly in matte white or bright white.

Printing and processing performance: It can be processed through screen printing, flexographic printing, relief printing, etc., suitable for products such as electrical appliances, computers, medicine, and alcoholic beverages that are difficult to maintain quality after application.

Sensitive to temperature and humidity: The material of fragile paper is fragile and sensitive to temperature and humidity changes. The storage period is usually short, and the processing speed needs to be controlled to prevent edge tearing.

Classification level: It is divided into fragile, medium fragile, and extremely fragile, allowing for the selection of different degrees of fragmentation according to specific anti-counterfeiting requirements.
