Bolzano, June 13, 2026. Today, when people are looking for a recommendation, they increasingly ask an AI--ChatGPT, Perplexity, Google--and get an answer without ever opening a website. Traditional company websites usually don't appear in these results. This is exactly why the South Tyrolean freelancer collective Berger+Team is launching btlabs Core: a website platform that makes small and medium-sized businesses discoverable not only on Google but also in AI responses.
"Today, when people are looking for a recommendation, they often ask an AI directly. With btlabs Core, your business appears in that response--accurately, in multiple languages, without you having to hand over your data," says Florian Berger, founder of Berger+Team.
What sets btlabs Core apart. The platform delivers machine-readable profiles (llms.txt, brand.json) and an open interface (MCP) through which AI assistants can accurately extract a business's details. It immediately notifies search engines of any changes (IndexNow). Content is stored in three languages (German, Italian, English) at the core, and delivery is fast (often under 200 milliseconds). The analysis runs cookieless--without a cookie banner--and is hosted in the EU in compliance with the GDPR. Those who do not want their own content to be used for AI training can submit a machine-readable opt-out in accordance with the EU AI Act.
It belongs to the customer. btlabs Core is a one-time investment rather than a recurring subscription for the core system. The platform, data, and content remain the property of the business--including full export capabilities at any time. Each project is managed directly by the collective's specialists, without agency overhead.
