Experienced Hospitality Leader Daniel Martin Named General Manager of Holiday Inn Madison West

Holiday Inn Madison West Welcomes Daniel Martin as General Manager
Madison, WI - The Holiday Inn Madison West is pleased to announce the appointment of Daniel Martin as General Manager, bringing with him extensive experience in hotel operations, sales leadership, and multi-property management.
Martin began his career in hospitality at a young age, working his way up from public area operations to the front desk before advancing into dual leadership roles as Assistant General Manager and Director of Sales. Demonstrating exceptional drive early on, he became a General Manager at just 18 years old. Since then, he has led hotels ranging from 100 to 300 rooms and has served as a Regional General Manager overseeing multiple properties.
Throughout his career, Martin has worked with organizations including AGP and S&L Hospitality, where he played a key role in improving hotel performance and driving revenue growth. His experience includes serving as a task force General Manager for a waterpark resort while simultaneously managing an award-winning hotel connected to the Alliant Energy Center.
Among his notable accomplishments, Martin earned the prestigious "Ring of Honor" award, ranking in the top 1% of the brand at Clarion Suites in Madison. He is widely recognized for his ability to lead operational turnarounds and deliver strong results across both sales and guest experience.

Originally from Milwaukee, Wisconsin, Martin was drawn to join the company after previously competing against WISCO Hotels in the Milwaukee market. "I always heard great things about the company," he added. "It's exciting to now be on this side and be part of a team I once competed against."
Outside of work, Martin enjoys traveling both within Wisconsin and beyond, exploring new destinations and experiences along the way.
