Barcodes Philippines Completes Infrastructure Rebrand, Adds 2D and ITF-14 Asset Management Tools
MANILA, Philippines - Barcodes Philippines, a major provider of retail product identification services in the domestic market, announced today the completion of a comprehensive digital infrastructure upgrade across its primary web portals. The structural rollout unifies the deployment mechanics and data layers for four core assets: the primary corporate site barcodes.ph, the automated Customer Portal, the International Barcodes Database, and the localized Philippine Products Database.
Expanding Technical Capabilities for E-Commerce and Global Logistics
The underlying technical architecture updates are designed to handle growing data demands from small and medium enterprises (SMEs) entering formal distribution networks. A key addition to the updated self-service Customer Portal is the deployment of free 2D barcode image generation tools, allowing local manufacturers to systematically prepare for evolving global supply chain data standards.
Furthermore, the portal infrastructure has been expanded to include dedicated tracking and lifecycle management modules specifically for ITF-14 codes (Global Trade Item Numbers used on outer shipping cartons and delivery cases), allowing suppliers to monitor their wholesale distribution assets from a single centralized dashboard.
Vector Standardization and Cross-Registry Syncing
To prevent formatting friction during commercial product packaging design and high-volume plate manufacturing, the system updates standardize all automated barcode image output delivery exclusively to scalable vector and high-resolution raster formats: PNG, PDF, and SVG.
The database integration layer has also been optimized to ensure that when an entry is managed within the Customer Portal, the respective metadata synchronizes simultaneously across both the regional Philippine Products Database and the International Barcodes Database. This dual-registry lookup is intended to keep local product specifications immediately accessible to international search indexing engines and modern smartphone logistics scanners.
According to technical specifications released by the company, all upgraded data portals are fully active as of today. Existing registration accounts can access the new 2D generation and ITF-14 tracking tools directly via their current authentication credentials.

Barcodes Philippines was established in 2017 with a simple goal: to make retail accessible for Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs).
For years, getting a barcode meant signing up for expensive memberships, filling out endless paperwork, and paying recurring annual fees. We changed that. We provide legitimate EAN and UPC retail barcodes for a one-off cost.
We are the only officially authorised supplier of the International Barcodes Network (IBN) within the territorial boundaries of the Philippines.
