Nagareyama LEAD Selected as Official EDU-Port Japan Platform

The Chiba-based educational association joins prestigious public-private collaborative platform to advance Japanese-style entrepreneurship and AI-literacy education globally.
Nagareyama LEAD, a Japanese general incorporated association (一般社団法人) dedicated to 21st-century childhood education, has officially been selected as a Platform Member Organization for Educational Collaboration by EDU-Port Japan. Funded and supported by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology (MEXT) alongside the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry (METI) and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MOFA), EDU-Port Japan showcases and exports proven Japanese educational innovations to the global stage.
This selection highlights Nagareyama LEAD's proactive role in addressing the global skills gap by introducing a structured, classroom-tested framework for childhood entrepreneurship and AI agency. By joining the platform, Nagareyama LEAD is positioned to collaborate directly with international school networks, overseas educational bodies, and public-private institutions looking to deploy innovative educational models.
A Validated Framework for an AI-Driven Future
As automated technologies reshape the workforce, global research indicates that soft skills-such as critical thinking, creative collaboration, and adaptive problem-solving-will be the primary indicators of student success. Nagareyama LEAD bridges the gap between traditional rote memorization and future-ready capabilities by offering a comprehensive six-year bilingual (English-Japanese) curriculum tailored for children ages 10-14.

The EDU-Port Japan membership marks another pivotal milestone in Nagareyama LEAD's rapid ecosystem integration. The organization's domestic track record already includes:
Public Board of Education Endorsements: A foundational three-year partnership with the Nagareyama Board of Education, alongside a recent official endorsement from the Shibuya Board of Education.
Metropolitan Partnerships: Serving as an active partner with the Tokyo Metropolitan Government's Tokyo Innovation Base (TIB) for childhood entrepreneurship.
Global Advocacy: Appointed as an official SusHi Tech 2026 Ambassador, representing Tokyo's premier sustainable high-tech and startup ecosystem.
With its bilingual textbooks, multi-year curriculum blocks (Foundation and Acceleration phases), and structured teacher certification training, Nagareyama LEAD provides schools with a low-friction pathway to integrate innovation education seamlessly into their core curriculum or extracurricular offerings. As part of the EDU-Port Japan platform, the organization will actively expand its outreach to international school circuits across the Kanto region and beyond, conducting independent regional studies to support schools in optimization and curriculum mapping.
