Interview with NLP pioneer Connirae Andreas: Fourth issue of World of NLP magazine published

Kitzingen, May 22, 2026 - The fourth issue of World of NLP magazine has been published--featuring Connirae Andreas, one of the most influential figures in the international NLP scene, on the cover. In an in-depth interview with NLP trainer Ulrich Fischer, the NLP pioneer provides deep insights into her two best-known methods: Core Transformation and Wholeness Work.

Connirae Andreas belongs to the first generation of NLP trainers. As early as 1977, she and her husband Steve Andreas encountered the then-nascent field of Neuro-Linguistic Programming and helped shape it over the decades. With Core Transformation, which she developed and has since been translated into 15 languages, she created a method for profound personal change that is now an integral part of many NLP Master training programs.

From Core Transformation to Wholeness Work

In this interview, Connirae Andreas describes how Core Transformation first emerged from a personal quest--as a response to the realization that classic NLP protocols reached their limits with certain problems. Later, following a profound personal crisis and inspired by the teachings of the Indian sage Ramana Maharshi, she developed Wholeness Work, a method now comprising around 20 formats that operates on a deeper experiential level and leads toward inner wholeness.

The interview spans more than four decades of NLP history: from its beginnings in California through the development of new formats to the current state of research. Several studies now confirm the effectiveness of Core Transformation.

A magazine as a free source of knowledge

World of NLP magazine is published by Landsiedel NLP Training and appears four times a year. Each issue comprises around 180 pages and features expert articles, interviews, practical exercises, short stories, and scientific contributions--the online version is available free of charge and in multiple languages, including German, English, Spanish, French, Chinese, Russian, and Hindi.

The editor is NLP Master Trainer Stephan Landsiedel. He is supported by an international editorial team as well as NLP trainers, researchers, and associations from various countries. Authors of previous issues include Robert Dilts, Franz Huetter, Michael Hall, and Bruce Grimley.

A Wide Range of Topics for Beginners and Professionals

In addition to the interview with Connirae Andreas, the fourth issue features articles on NLP and spirituality, storytelling using the 4-MAT system, NLP in sports, personality models, and a workshop on VAKOG and perception. The work of Virginia Satir is also honored. As a result, the magazine is aimed both at beginners who want to learn about NLP and at experienced coaches, trainers, and therapists who wish to deepen their expertise. In a dedicated series, the editor personally demonstrates how new NLP techniques can be developed and highlights current trends.

For Stephan Landsiedel, free access is a central concern: NLP knowledge should not disappear behind paywalls, but should be available to all interested parties. All four issues can be subscribed to free of charge and read digitally. In addition, there is a print edition of the magazine, which is also available by subscription with supplementary bonus workshops and as an audio version.
