Jefferson Fit Launches New "Competitive Hybrid Conditioning" Group Fitness Class

Jefferson Fit, a full-service fitness and recovery center in downtown Sarasota, is expanding its group fitness lineup with the launch of Competitive Hybrid Conditioning, a new performance-based training class designed to help members build endurance, strength, speed and athletic conditioning through race-inspired functional workouts.
The new class officially launches Monday, May 18 and will meet Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays at 6 a.m. at Jefferson Fit's downtown Sarasota facility.
Led by new trainer Cameron Darby, Competitive Hybrid Conditioning combines functional strength work with cardio conditioning through sled pushes, rowing, carries, timed intervals and full-body performance circuits. The class is designed for members preparing for endurance events, obstacle races, hybrid fitness competitions, or anyone looking for a more athletic and results-driven workout experience.
Interest in hybrid fitness racing, obstacle course events, and endurance competitions continues to grow across Florida, including events such as Spartan Race, Tough Mudder, Ironman World Championship competitions, and HYROX races.
The class was designed to provide performance-focused training while remaining approachable for all fitness levels.

Cameron brings great energy and a strong performance background to this program, and we're excited to offer members a new way to build endurance, strength and confidence."
Sarasota native Cameron Darby brings a background in biomechanics and sports performance training, with certifications through ISSA and DBC Sports Performance.
Each session focuses on building endurance, strength, speed, and overall athletic performance.
All fitness levels are welcome, and modifications will be provided as needed. The class is included with Jefferson Fit monthly memberships, and non-members may attend with the purchase of a $30 day pass.
