Galileo Wheel partners with DFS Finance to bring five-year nationwide financing to the only airless pivot tire backed by a 10-year warranty - resolving the upfront investment barrier for equipment upgrades.

Galileo Wheel, creator of the patented TrakWheel airless tire technology, today announced a partnership with DFS Finance, a division of First National Bank of Omaha, offering farmers a five-year full buy-out financing option on TrakWheel Architected Wheel Solutions. The program is available through DFS Finance approved dealers, including all authorized Valley and Lindsay dealer networks, the two dominant pivot irrigation system manufacturers in North America. Notably, tires are wearable items typically excluded from equipment financing programs. This makes DFS Finance's approval of TrakWheel a milestone in the industry, reflecting its recognition as a long-term component of the irrigation system rather than a consumable part.

The timing reflects a broader shift in how American farmers approach equipment investment. Demand for farm operating loans grew nearly 40% in the fourth quarter of 2025 compared to the previous year, according to the Federal Reserve Bank of Kansas City - a clear signal that farmers are actively seeking financing tools to keep their operations moving forward. At the same time, the US agricultural equipment finance market, valued at $12.5 billion in 2024, is projected to reach $20.3 billion by 2034, driven by growing demand for advanced farming technologies (Emergen Research, 2025).

TrakWheel for irrigation is a proven solution for raising farming efficiency - four years since its US market launch, more than 10,000 installed wheel and tire assemblies, a warranty claim rate of just 0.05%, and first-season ROI reaching 551% in documented customer cases. Field results show a 30% traction increase, up to 80% reduction in field rutting, and zero recorded pivot downtime due to tire failure.

Advanced technology comes with a higher initial price tag - which can be a real barrier for a farmer to adopt. Galileo Wheel worked on the solution and now TrakWheel Architected Wheel Solutions can be financed as an integral part of a farmer's equipment investment - a manageable monthly commitment that starts paying back from day one.

With terms of up to five years, and the option to finance replacement tires, the program lets farmers and irrigation operators upgrade to TrakWheel airless tire technology - eliminating tire-related downtime and maintenance costs entirely - without adding pressure to their cash flow.

"Farmers today are under real pressure, and we take that seriously," said Chris Rice, Executive Vice President of Sales at Galileo Wheel. "We spent a long time working to make this financing happen to give any farmer access to the best technology available. Now they can eliminate pivot downtime from day one, spread the investment over five years and get a first-in-the-industry 10-year warranty. The ROI is immediate - the cash outlay no longer has to be."

The program is structured as a full buy-out option, with all financing subject to DFS underwriting and credit approval. Collateral may be required. Customers interested in applying should contact their authorized DFS Finance approved dealer to initiate the process.

"Galileo's Architected Wheel Solutions represent exactly the kind of long-term infrastructure investment that financing is designed for," said Chris Halbur, Senior Vice President of DFS Finance. "This program gives dealers a powerful tool to close sales on high-value upgrades while giving farmers the flexibility to manage capital expenditure across multiple seasons."

Customers can estimate their monthly payments using the Galileo TrakWheel Financing Calculator at www.galileowheel.com/financing. The calculator allows users to adjust tire price, quantity, interest rate, and term to generate an estimated monthly payment based on their specific fleet configuration.
