As global farming faces efficiency crisis, declining commodity prices and weather-related crop losses the innovative premium wheel company establishes a golden standard in the industry to further strengthen its outstanding customer retention

York, PA, October 21, 2025 - Galileo Wheel, the wheel technology innovative company announced today it is rebranding its CupWheel product line as TRAKWHEEL by Galileo. It is also introducing a 10-year warranty on airless irrigation pivot tires-the first of its kind in the agricultural tire industry. The moves come as the company crossed the impressive milestone of over 8,000 units of irrigation wheels sold over the past few years. With strong market demand, excellent customer feedback and no quality issues, the company secured a new investment round and prepares for further aggressive U.S. market expansion.

In the $30 billion global off-road tire market, punctured tires remain one of the largest preventable causes of equipment failure, with downtime costs exceeding $400 per vehicle daily. Farmers face a 25% decline in net farm income and enter a third consecutive year of losses across major crops. Weather-related crop losses reached $21.9 billion in 2024 as extreme weather events damaged crops globally, increasing the critical importance of uninterrupted irrigation and reduced soil compaction that preserves agricultural productivity and prevents erosion.

TRAKWHEEL replaces the CupWheel brand across Galileo's irrigation, skid steer, and tractor tire lines. The rebrand emphasizes the technology's defining characteristic: track-equivalent traction and weight distribution in a tire that installs on standard rims. The new logo visualizes the elongated footprint created by the tire's patented concave sidewall design, representing how the tire mimics track behavior on the ground.

With 8,000+ units deployed in irrigation applications and zero returns, Galileo claims its irrigation tires have established a new standard in pivot irrigation efficiency. Customer data shows the technology eliminates pivot system downtime entirely while reducing field rutting by up to 80% compared to conventional tires-delivering the continuous operation and soil preservation farmers need to maintain yields in an increasingly challenging agricultural environment.

"In nearly 30 years in the material handling and equipment industry, I've never seen 100% customer satisfaction in irrigation applications," said Chris Rice, Executive Vice President of Sales at Galileo. "I recently joined the company after being impressed by the technology-it eliminates a fundamental problem that's cost agricultural operations billions in downtime. The rebrand makes the value proposition immediate: it's a tire that performs like a track."

Galileo's new irrigation warranty covers 10,000 operating hours-unprecedented in the agricultural tire industry. The warranty reflects field durability data and eliminates replacement uncertainty for large farming operations managing multiple irrigation systems.

To intensify U.S. market expansion, the company secured a new investment round with participation from existing investors. Proceeds will fund North American sales and marketing operations, manufacturing working capital, and additional product development as Galileo projects continued strong year-over-year growth.

The autonomous agricultural vehicle market, valued at $5.9 billion in 2023 and projected to grow at 17% annually through 2032, represents additional expansion opportunity as autonomous systems require puncture-proof tires capable of extended operation without human intervention.

Galileo has partnerships with global leaders such as Yokohama and Trelleborg, and distributes through major equipment manufacturers including Valley Irrigation, Zimmatic, and CNH Industrial. John Deere Financial allows agricultural operators to purchase TRAKWHEEL tires using their existing credit line.
