Orga Systems selected finalist in three categories at World BSS Awards 2008

Paderborn, Germany. 20. May 2008: Yesterday, the Judges announced, Orga Systems is shortlisted as finalist for three categories at the World BSS Awards 2008.

The three categories, Orga Systems is nominated for are:
Overall - Best Contribution to BSS - The organization which has had the largest impact on the BSS landscape over the past year. Orga Systems’ impact through the Orga Systems Convergence Program is highlighted here. The long-term one-stop-shop initiative optimizes telecom operator’s entire billing and CRM processes. It encompasses a convergent product portfolio by Orga Systems and selected partners.
Innovation In Billing & Information Management - Innovation and enhanced functionality in product / service offering, approach to market &/or business modeling or methodology. Best Billing / Charging Implementation - Effective implementation of all (or part) of a system to deliver new or improved billing &/or charging functionality. An independent panel of judges, chaired by Hugh Roberts, Consultant Director, BSS/OSS RM Events, IIR Telecoms and Senior Strategist – Patni Telecoms Consulting, will nominate winners of the awards. The announcement of the winners will be made at the BIMS 2008 Gala Diamond Drinks Party in Amsterdam on the evening of Tuesday 10th June 2008.

The World BSS Awards raise awareness of the significance of billing and information management systems and processes to the communications industry, identifying key trends and rewarding BSS best practice. They are widely regarded as the highest industry recognition of BSS excellence. Launched in 1997, this will be the 12th year that these important awards will be presented.
