ZeroMS Combines Real-Time Execution Intelligence with AI

ZeroMS, the multi-location FIX 4.4 execution bridge developed by Equidity, is introducing a dual-layer intelligence model that embeds machine learning directly into order routing while providing operators with an AI-driven analytical assistant inside the trading environment.

The approach combines two distinct capabilities within a single platform: a real-time execution intelligence engine that determines how orders are routed, and an embedded Copilot that explains, in plain language, what has occurred across the trading stack.

The combination addresses two longstanding challenges in broker operations - deciding how to route each order in real time, and understanding, with precision, what has happened when execution behaviour deviates.

No existing bridge or execution engine in the forex market currently integrates both decision-making and explanation layers in this manner.

Execution Intelligence at the Point of Order Entry

A central feature of ZeroMS is a continuously operating machine-learning layer that evaluates trading behaviour in real time and feeds that intelligence directly into the execution path.

Each trading account is dynamically scored across multiple behavioural dimensions, including risk, toxicity, scalping patterns, arbitrage characteristics, and high-frequency activity. These scores are not confined to reporting; they are used as live inputs in the routing logic.

Operators can define policies within the execution environment using conditions such as:

* routing high-risk flow to internal books
* directing latency-sensitive traders to alternative liquidity providers
* prioritising stable retail flow towards primary liquidity

Routing decisions are applied at the moment of order entry, with execution completed in microseconds. As behaviour evolves, routing adapts automatically without requiring manual reclassification or intervention.

"Every other bridge tells you what your traders did last week," said Prakash Kumar, Founder of Equidity. "ZeroMS decides how to route them this millisecond, and explains every decision the next."

The model shifts broker operations from reactive analysis to proactive control. Instead of maintaining static account lists or relying on delayed reporting, brokers define behavioural policies and allow the system to enforce them continuously.

From Analysis to Action

Traditional bridge environments treat trader analysis as a post-trade function, often dependent on manual review cycles and subjective interpretation.

By contrast, ZeroMS embeds analysis directly into the execution pipeline, enabling:

* near-immediate identification of toxic or opportunistic flow
* automatic adjustment of routing strategies
* continuous monitoring of behavioural drift
* full auditability of execution decisions, including the scores used at the time of routing

This approach reduces reliance on manual dealing desk intervention and allows execution strategies to evolve alongside market conditions and trader behaviour.

An AI Copilot for Operational Visibility

Alongside its execution intelligence layer, ZeroMS introduces Copilot, an embedded AI assistant designed to provide real-time explanations of trading activity across the platform.

Copilot has read-level access to all operational data, including orders, FIX sessions, liquidity performance, exposure, slippage metrics, and execution flows. Operators can query the system in natural language and receive precise, context-aware responses.

Typical use cases include:

* identifying why a specific order was rejected
* analysing liquidity provider performance over a defined period
* calculating real-time exposure across symbols or books
* breaking down slippage and execution outcomes for individual clients
* explaining the drivers behind a trader's risk profile

The system retrieves relevant data, traces execution paths, and presents findings in structured, human-readable form within seconds.

"Copilot doesn't replace the dealing desk - it promotes it". "Everyone on the team operates with senior-level context, because Copilot has access to everything."

Designed for Safety and Control

Copilot is intentionally designed as a read-only system. It cannot modify configurations, execute trades, or interact with external parties.

This constraint ensures that while the platform delivers rapid insight and analysis, all operational decisions remain under human control - a critical consideration in live trading environments.

"We deliberately made Copilot read-only," Kumar added. "The cost of an AI taking the wrong action in a live system is too high. The cost of providing an explanation is bounded and verifiable."

Closing the Operational Loop

The combination of execution intelligence and analytical Copilot creates a unified operational loop within the platform:

* the execution engine determines how orders are routed in real time
* Copilot explains why those decisions were made and what outcomes they produced

"There are two AI layers here, but they solve entirely different problems," Kumar said. "One decides, the other explains. Together they close the gap between execution and understanding."

A New Model for Bridge Technology

ZeroMS is part of a broader shift in execution infrastructure, moving away from static, configuration-driven systems toward dynamic, data-driven environments.

The platform integrates its intelligence layers with a visual execution flow builder, real-time analytics, and multi-location deployment across key financial data centres, including London, Frankfurt, New York, and Singapore.

In doing so, it introduces capabilities that have not traditionally existed within a single bridge platform.

The Economics of Brokerage Infrastructure Are Being Rewritten
The brokerage industry is entering a new phase where traditional cost structures are being challenged by more flexible, usage-driven models. For years, brokerage firms have operated under rigid financial frameworks defined by high upfront costs, fixed monthly fees, and multiple vendor dependencies. This approach has created significant financial pressure, particularly for new and growing firms. A shift is now underway. Modern brokerage infrastructure is moving toward a usage-based model, where costs are

Brokerage-as-a-Service Is Reshaping the Economics of the Brokerage Industry
The brokerage industry is undergoing a structural transformation as traditional infrastructure models give way to more flexible, cloud-native approaches. A new model - Brokerage-as-a-Service (BaaS) - is emerging as a more efficient alternative to the capital-intensive systems that have long defined the sector. For decades, launching a brokerage has required significant upfront investment, complex integrations, and reliance on multiple vendors. Firms have typically faced high setup costs, fixed monthly fees, and
