ZeroMS Sets a New Standard for Broker Execution Infrastructure
ZeroMS, a modern FIX 4.4 execution bridge developed by Equidity, is positioning itself as a new standard for broker execution infrastructure, addressing long-standing limitations in the global forex trading stack.For more than a decade, the bridge layer has been dominated by a small number of vendors, with platforms that rely on static configuration, limited transparency, and operational workflows that often require manual intervention. While functional, these systems have left brokers operating with restricted control over execution and limited visibility into trading behaviour.
ZeroMS takes a fundamentally different approach.
Built on a high-performance C++ execution engine and delivered through a web-based management platform, ZeroMS enables brokers to configure, monitor, and optimise execution in real time - without reliance on configuration files, system restarts, or support-driven changes.
A Visual Approach to Execution
At the core of ZeroMS is a visual execution flow builder, allowing operations teams to design routing logic through a drag-and-drop interface.
Brokers can define A-Book and B-Book strategies, split flow across multiple liquidity providers, and apply conditional rules based on symbol, volume, account type, or market conditions - all within a live environment where changes take effect instantly.
"The fact that adding a new liquidity provider takes five minutes instead of five days fundamentally changes how a broker can run their business," said Prakash Kumar, Founder of Equidity.
Execution Intelligence Built Into the Core
Unlike traditional systems, ZeroMS integrates a machine-learning layer directly into its execution engine.
The platform continuously profiles trading behaviour, assigning real-time scores across categories such as scalping, arbitrage, high-frequency trading, and news-driven activity. These insights are fed back into routing decisions, allowing brokers to dynamically adjust execution strategies based on the behaviour of each trader.
"We didn't add AI as a feature - we built the routing engine around it," Kumar said. "The platform learns who your toxic traders are and routes around them in real time."
Multi-Location Infrastructure with Seamless Mobility
ZeroMS supports deployment across major financial data centres, including London (LD4), Frankfurt (FRA), New York (NY4), and Singapore (SG1).
Unlike legacy systems that are tied to a single location, ZeroMS enables brokers to migrate infrastructure between data centres with minimal disruption. Locations are connected through a private network layer, allowing for redundancy, failover, and geographic optimisation without reconfiguration or re-licensing.
Real-Time Visibility Across the Entire Stack
The platform provides live access to all critical trading data, including:
* Order flow and execution latency
* Liquidity provider performance
* Slippage and rejection metrics
* Exposure and position monitoring
* FIX session activity and message logs
All data is streamed in real time through the web portal, removing the need for delayed reports or external analytics tools.
A Shift Away from Legacy Cost Structures
ZeroMS is offered through a subscription-based model without per-connection or per-symbol fees, reducing the total cost of ownership compared to traditional bridge providers.
The platform is designed for brokers seeking to scale execution infrastructure while maintaining control over cost, performance, and operational complexity.
Built for a Changing Broker Landscape
ZeroMS is designed for:
* Retail and institutional forex brokers
* Multi-asset trading platforms
* Proprietary trading firms
* Liquidity providers offering aggregation services
By combining execution control, real-time visibility, and adaptive intelligence, ZeroMS reflects a shift in how brokers manage trading infrastructure - moving from static systems to dynamic, data-driven execution environments.

ZeroMS, the multi-location FIX 4.4 execution bridge developed by Equidity, is introducing a dual-layer intelligence model that embeds machine learning directly into order routing while providing operators with an AI-driven analytical assistant inside the trading environment.
The approach combines two distinct capabilities within a single platform: a real-time execution intelligence engine that determines how orders are routed, and an embedded Copilot that explains, in plain language, what has occurred across the…
The Economics of Brokerage Infrastructure Are Being Rewritten
The brokerage industry is entering a new phase where traditional cost structures are being challenged by more flexible, usage-driven models. For years, brokerage firms have operated under rigid financial frameworks defined by high upfront costs, fixed monthly fees, and multiple vendor dependencies. This approach has created significant financial pressure, particularly for new and growing firms.
A shift is now underway.
Modern brokerage infrastructure is moving toward a usage-based model, where costs are…
Brokerage-as-a-Service Is Reshaping the Economics of the Brokerage Industry
The brokerage industry is undergoing a structural transformation as traditional infrastructure models give way to more flexible, cloud-native approaches. A new model - Brokerage-as-a-Service (BaaS) - is emerging as a more efficient alternative to the capital-intensive systems that have long defined the sector.
For decades, launching a brokerage has required significant upfront investment, complex integrations, and reliance on multiple vendors. Firms have typically faced high setup costs, fixed monthly fees, and…
