LAS VEGAS - April 13, 2026 - Cutback [https://cutback.video/], an AI-powered post-production workflow platform for professional video teams, today announced the debut of Selects at NAB Show 2026 (Las Vegas Convention Center, North Hall, Booth N961).
Selects is an AI-assisted editing tool built for the most time-consuming phase of post-production, before editors even enter their NLEs (non-linear editing softwares). It turns hours of raw multi-cam footage into a structured first draft, using a workflow that moves from preparation to draft edit to final handoff.

Instead of manually syncing, switching, and scrubbing through timelines, editors start with footage that is already structured, searchable, and ready for editing.

Editors define exactly how the edit should work through a single prompt, including duration, structure, pacing, emphasis, silence removal, and camera switching logic.
Selects applies these instructions across the entire project, generating a structured multi-cam first draft that reflects the editor's intent, not just audio levels or simple rules.
For editors who prefer a starting point, the Suggest feature analyzes the footage and generates a prompt automatically, which can be refined and reused across projects.
Finish in Your NLE of Choice
Once the first draft is generated, projects can be moved seamlessly into industry-standard editing tools such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, and DaVinci Resolve.
The workflow is fully non-destructive, preserving the original footage and allowing editors to refine every decision without losing control.
