Press release from: FleetBloc

India-based aviation capital platform delivers non-dilutive, zero-cost advance capital to airline partners - targeting ₹300 crore per partner in Year 1

FleetBlocTM, a structured capital partnership platform focused on the India-outbound aviation sector, today announced the launch of its airline capital programme, offering non-dilutive, zero-cost advance capital to airline partners operating on India-origin international corridors.

The programme is designed to address a structural gap in Indian aviation finance. India's outbound international airfare market exceeds ₹20,000 crore annually, with over 7 crore international passenger departures recorded in FY2024, according to the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA). Despite this scale, Indian airlines continue to rely on traditional capital sources - bank loans at 8-12% interest, bond issuances tied to credit ratings, and equity raises that dilute ownership - none of which offer the flexibility or cost profile of advance capital.

FleetBloc's programme delivers structured advance capital to airline partners on a rolling quarterly basis, with no equity dilution, no debt, no collateral, and zero commission in Year 1. Capital received by the airline on Day 1 is structured under Ind AS 115 as deferred revenue, creating a tax-timing float of up to ₹75 crore on a ₹300 crore capital package at the standard 25% corporate tax rate. At a conservative 12% ROCE, ₹300 crore deployed in Year 1 compounds to ₹932 crore over a decade.

The programme is structured for exclusive partnerships - only one airline is selected per corridor. FleetBloc is currently in active discussions with carriers across key India-origin international corridors. Airlines interested in exploring a partnership are invited to initiate contact through the company's partnerships channel.

FleetBloc is registered under the Companies Act, 2013. The FleetBlocTM trademark is filed under Class 39 with the Office of the Controller General of Patents, Designs & Trade Marks, Government of India.
