AI is Redefining Managed Services: Ajay Sharma of Team Computers on the Shift to Intelligent IT Operations
The Managed Services landscape is undergoing a significant transformation as enterprises shift from traditional, reactive IT support models to intelligent, AI-driven operations. According to Ajay Sharma, BU Head - Managed Services at Team Computers, this evolution is redefining how organizations approach efficiency, scalability, and business outcomes. With over 20 years of experience in enterprise IT and managed services, Ajay Sharma has been at the forefront of driving large-scale transformation initiatives. Currently leading the Managed Services business at Team Computers, he oversees a diverse portfolio of enterprise clients, delivering innovative solutions across industries.
"Managed services today must go beyond uptime and ticket resolution. The focus has shifted to predictive, automation-first models that enhance business performance," said Ajay Sharma.
Under his leadership, Team Computers is actively integrating artificial intelligence, machine learning, and automation into its service delivery frameworks. A key part of this strategy includes ZerofAI, an AI/ML Powered platform designed to enable self-healing systems, intelligent automation, and real-time decision-making in IT operations.
By leveraging platforms like ZerofAI, organizations can significantly reduce manual intervention, accelerate issue resolution, and improve overall user experience. This shift not only drives operational efficiency but also enables IT teams to focus on strategic initiatives rather than routine tasks.
Prior to joining Team Computers, Ajay Sharma served as the Global Infrastructure Delivery Head for Europe at HCLTech, where he managed large-scale managed services engagements and led AI-driven transformation across hybrid and cloud environments. His experience in managing multi-million-dollar portfolios and engaging with global CXOs has shaped his approach to building outcome-driven service models.
"Enterprises are no longer looking for service providers; they are looking for strategic partners who can deliver measurable business impact. AI is becoming the backbone of this transformation," he added.
As organizations continue to accelerate digital transformation, AI-led managed services are emerging as a critical enabler of agility, resilience, and innovation. Early adopters of this model are expected to gain a significant competitive advantage in an increasingly dynamic technology landscape.
