VAG RIKO® Plunger Valve with hydraulic break and lift cylinder
Due to their modular design VAG brake and lift cylinders can be employed in a wide range of applications. Additional features can be implemented quickly and easily by adding modules. For shut-off valves, for example, that must be activated as quick opening valves without auxiliary power or as a combined quick shut-off/regulating device.
VAG brake and lift cylinders provide lightening-fast reactions as quick opening or quick closing valves, making controlled shut-off of turbine service pipelines, emergency feed for fire fighting water supply or cooling circuits switching in power plants a very sure thing.
Depending on the customer requirements everything is integrated on the VAG brake and lift cylinders, the actuator as well as the control units in a compact assembly. The ready-to-use assembly is delivered with a choice of fitted clamps or control unit. The unit only needs to be connected to the power supply to be put it into operation. When being used alone the actuating times of the brake and lift cylinder can be set individually on site or by the adjustable flow control valve.
A special feature of VAG brake and lift cylinders is their high level of user-friendliness. Compact design, easy handling and maximum functionality guarantee a high degree of customer satisfaction with maximum benefit and maximum safety. The space-saving design of VAG brake and lift cylinders also permit, for example, safe and reliable operation in the smallest of spaces.
In contrast to units with open oil tanks that often have to be put into operation by a service technician, VAG delivers a drive assembly perfectly adjusted according to the customer requirements. Preassembly and all necessary settings are done in the VAG manufacturing plant in Mannheim/Germany. All customers have a direct benefit from immediate operational readiness and save service costs.
All VAG brake and lift cylinders are equipped with a valve manifold made of stainless steel and corrosion protected flow meters, guaranteeing you the lowest possible maintenance costs and longer service life.
