Jeffrey L. Carrier releases Depression-Era Trilogy of Fiction, Coal Dust on Purple Asters

Carrier, a native of Mountain City, Tennessee, draws on his family history in Knott County, Kentucky to preserve the "lilting cadence" of mountain speech.
