Serial Entrepreneur Peter J. Burns III Appears on Popular 'It Pays To Have Good Credit' Podcast

Peter J. Burns, III, the CEO of Burns Funding (https://burnsfunding.com/), recently appeared on the podcast "It Pays To Have Good Credit," where he discussed alternative funding methods, such as Burns Funding's innovative approach to monetizing shelf corporations and the role that bridge funding can play when it comes to improving one's credit score.

With decades of experience working with entrepreneurs, Burns has become an authority on the always vexing challenge of raising capital to start or support an existing business. In fact, Burns, who is a member of the prestigious Forbes Business Council, has written extensively about the topic for Forbes.

Burns recently wrote about this topic for Forbes, identifying "three steps that people can take to improve their credit score. Specifically, he suggests that entrepreneurs find a non-traditional credit partner like a family member, focus on soft credit pulls, and tap resources that are not reported to the credit agencies.

Other Options for Boosting Credit Score

The objective with all three of the above steps is to cost-effectively and incrementally raise one's credit score. But if a borrower needs to expeditiously boost their credit score, then Burns offers other suggestions, such as participating in a bridge funding program.

Regarding bridge loans, Burns wrote, in another column for Forbes, that "technological innovations have changed the landscape (for bridge loans). For example, online platforms and lenders have simplified the application and approval process. This has made bridge loans more accessible to many businesses."

Based in La Jolla, California, Peter J. Burns III grew up in a well-established New England family in New Canaan, Connecticut. He was briefly educated at the United States Military Academy Preparatory School at West Point, the University of Virginia (UVA), and finally, Harvard Business School's Owners and Presidents Management Program. While his two younger brothers went on to have very successful traditional business careers, Burns chose the life of a startup entrepreneur.
