Badestrand Kosmetik GmbH uses Rosa Damascena essential rose oil in the formulation of its wild rose skin oil, rose petal day cream, and rose almond night cream.
The rose petal day cream is a fast-absorbing, light, plant-based facial care cream for demanding skin that tends to be dry. The plant-based facial care with rose almond night cream is much richer and ideal for the restorative and regenerative night hours. The ultra-fine wild rose skin oil is ideal for caring for the d?collet? as well as for treating scars, pregnancy marks, and stretch marks. For optimal results, apply to skin that is still towel-damp after showering or bathing. This will bind additional moisture and protect the skin from drying out, support skin elasticity, and improve skin tone in the long term.
All Badestrand rose care products contain the delicate and unobtrusive scent of essential rose oil from the Damask rose. Extensive dermatological tests confirm the skin-improving care effect and particularly good tolerability of the Badestrand rose blossom series.
The rose blossom day cream and rose almond night cream are available in a hygienic 50 ml pump dispenser. The high-quality wild rose skin oil is provided in a 20 ml amber glass pipette dispenser for economical dosing.
The Damask rose originates from the city of Damascus in Syria. The most precious rose oil is extracted in Bulgaria and Turkey. Essential rose oil has been used for centuries for its healing properties and for beauty care. The aromatic scent of rose petals is also valued in aromatherapy for its calming, harmonizing, and antidepressant effects.
The high price of rose petal oil is due to the labor-intensive production of the essence. Even today, the rose petals are still harvested by hand. It is important that they are harvested between sunrise and around 10/11 a.m. This is because rising daytime temperatures rob the rose of its precious fragrance and make the subsequent distillation less productive. An incredible amount of 5,000 kgs of rose petals are processed to produce 1 kg of rose petal essence. A good picker can harvest around 40 - 50 kgs of petals per day.
