SIP Scootershop wins German Design Award 2026 for customer magazine CURVE

German Design Award: the award for excellent design The German Design Award is the international premium prize of the German Design Council. With its global reach and international appeal, it is one of the most prestigious awards in the design landscape. Since 2012, the award has identified significant design trends, made them visible, and honored them. Every year, outstanding work in the fields of product design, communication design, and architecture is recognized. As a platform for connecting global excellence, the German Design Award brings together the best international design achievements and makes their impact visible worldwide. Nomination The German Design Award sets the highest standards for the selection of its winners. Only products, projects, and communication design achievements nominated by the expert committees of the German Design Council can participate in the competition. The evaluation is carried out in a multi-stage process that culminates in a two-day jury meeting. Categories for a broad spectrum of design In order to reflect the diversity of design culture, the German Design Award is divided into three segments:

The award was given to the customer magazine CURVE, which is published annually and is characterized by high-quality design and strong editorial content.

The 100-page magazine is published once a year and distributed free of charge to SIP Scootershop customers. CURVE offers carefully researched reports, exciting stories, and inspiring reports from the world of Vespa and Lambretta - with a clear focus on the scene, culture, technology, and people.

The Landsberg-based agency 24sieben, which produces the magazine's design, is responsible for the visual concept and implementation. The award recognizes the interplay of high-quality layout, clear visual language, and strong brand communication.
