THE 'ANTI-PARTY' 'PARTY' track for Blue Monday
LONDON, UK - January 17, 2026 - Following the global underground acclaim of their breakthrough single 'On A Train', London-based collective Slave Labour returns to shatter the silence of 2026. This Monday, January 19th-famously known as Blue Monday-the band will release their highly anticipated EP, 'Party', across all streaming platforms and YouTube.
In a direct challenge to the "toxic positivity" of the new year, 'Party' isn't a celebration of success, but a glorification of the grind. Slave Labour is urging the public to reject the pressure to be happy on the year's most dismal day, instead inviting everyone to participate in a 'Blue Monday Party'-an anti-party protest designed to celebrate everything that is failing, frustrating, and fundamentally "sh*t."
"Raise a glass at midnight to curse those that really piss you off. This isn't about feeling better; it's about feeling everything. We're reclaiming the gloom to reinvigorate the soul."
The EP marks the return of the hauntingly ethereal Mollie Maid. Slave Labour made history as the first UK band to publicly release a track featuring a custom-built AI vocalist. Developed exclusively by the UK production powerhouse True Blockhouse, Mollie Maid's performance on 'Party' delivers a stunning, hyper-real vocal that blurs the line between human emotion and digital precision.
From the distorted basslines to the clinical, soaring hooks of Mollie Maid, 'Party' is a masterclass in modern electronic provocation. It is a record for the disenfranchised, the exhausted, and the resilient.
