Kim Scorza To Present at Evidence-Based "PATHWAYS" for Human Services in March

ATLANTA, February 13, 2017 -- Joyfields Institute is pleased to announce the upcoming Evidence-Based "PATHWAYS" conference and workshops for Human Services will feature 2 presentations to be made by Kim Scorza, CEO, Seasons Center Behavioral Health, a Certified Evidence-Based Organization. The event takes place March 14-17, 2017 at the Embassy Suites, Miami International Airport.

Kim Scorza, as CEO at Seasons Center for Behavioral Health, and her team of evidence-based professionals have been steadily building their organization into a superior evidence-based organization to reckon with there in the state of Iowa, and the country. She along with her colleagues will present, and have panel discussions on two topics. The first is a Case Study for Becoming Evidence-Based in which she discusses how Seasons Center Behavioral Health, a Certified Evidence-based Organization (CEBO) became evidence-based. She along with her colleagues will also facilitate a discussion around their experiences, lessons learned, and adjustments they've had to make along the way.

The second topic is on how to Integrate Trauma Informed Care & Traumatic Stress to enhance Service Excellence. In this session, she will facilitate discussions to help participants appreciate the impact trauma of various forms can have on clients, staff delivering services and the organizations overall. She will examine how to integrate, and leverage what we know about trauma to become a better practitioner or build a better organization than you imagined possible!
