Coworks Announces Integration with Unifi Door Access Control to Streamline Secure Entry for Coworking Spaces

Coworks, a leading space management platform for coworking and flexible workspaces, announced a new integration with Unifi Access Control technology from Ubiquiti.

This integration allows operators to automate and manage door access directly through the Coworks platform, improving security, efficiency, and the member experience.

The Coworks + Unifi integration supports a wide range of access scenarios for coworking communities, including long-term members, day pass guests, and public plan signups. Door permissions are now tied to member plans, bookings, and visit durations, eliminating the need for manual setup or additional third-party tools.

Key features of the integration include:

Automatic door group assignments via Unifi when members sign up
Support for public membership plans with automated onboarding
PIN code access for members and guests
Unlock functionality built into the Coworks mobile app
Temporary, time-based access for day pass and external bookings
Room-based access control tied to conference room reservations
Automatic check-ins triggered by door unlocks

Additionally, the integration introduces a new "Magic Link" system for temporary access. With this feature, guests and non-members receive a secure link via email, allowing them to unlock designated doors without downloading the Unifi or Coworks app. This provides a frictionless experience for short-term users and visitors.
