ATLANTA, GA - December 22, 2025 - Kinetic Arm announced that new baseball biomechanics research featuring its dynamic arm stabilization technology was selected as one of only five abstracts presented on December 10, 2025, at the 2025 MLB Winter Meetings in Orlando, Florida. The research was conducted at Point Loma Nazarene University (PLNU) by a professional performance analyst and evaluated the acute effects of a dynamic arm stabilizer on pitching mechanics. The findings demonstrated significant reductions in elbow varus torque and shoulder distraction force, two biomechanical loads commonly associated with increased stress on the throwing arm. Importantly, these reductions occurred without any decrease in ball velocity or change in maximum shoulder external rotation (MER), indicating that performance output and natural throwing mechanics were preserved.

Elbow varus torque and shoulder distraction force are widely recognized in baseball biomechanics literature as high-risk stressors that contribute to arm fatigue and breakdown over time. The ability to measurably reduce these forces without altering velocity addresses one of the most critical challenges in modern baseball: protecting the throwing arm while maintaining competitive performance standards.
