From the perspective of technological development, the key evolution direction of the new generation of silicon carbide (SIC) fiber is to control the SiC grain size and crystallinity by doping metal elements (such as aluminum, titanium, and zirconium), improve oxidation resistance and high-temperature creep performance, and at the same time, by optimizing the precursor purification process, fiber coating uniformity and interface matching, reduce fiber breakage rate, and improve product consistency and reliability. With this as the core, high-end CMC in the future is expected to maintain better structural stability under service conditions above 1550°C, supporting the safety requirements of a new generation of aviation gas turbines and advanced nuclear power plants with higher thrust ratios.

In general, the silicon carbide (SIC) fiber market will remain a typical representative of high-end niche and targeted expansion in the short term. In the medium term, it will form rigid demand growth in the fields of aerospace, advanced nuclear energy, ultra-high temperature protection and high-end friction.
