The DIGITUS® USB Bluetooth 2.0 EDR Tiny Adapter is smaller than 1 Euro coin and still has a range of 50 meters.

Since the adapter protrudes out of the USB port by less than a centimetre, it can stay there permanently and does not become lost. Troublesome plugging in with the related recognition and installation are no longer required.

The adapter is equipped with a Broadcom chip and Widcom software and supports the operating systems Windows XP 32/64, 98SE, ME, 2000, XP and Vista 32/64 to make every PC and each notebook Bluetooth capable.

The USB 1.1 interface enables the adapter to communicate with all standard Bluetooth devices via the Bluetooth specifications V1.1, 1.2, 2.0 and EDR. Power is supplied via the USB port. To sum up, the ideal companion when you are on the road

Background information: Bluetooth is an industrial standard originally developed in the 1990s by Ericsson in accordance with IEEE 802.15.1 for the wireless networking of devices over short distances (WPAN). Bluetooth forms the interface here where both mobile small devices such as cell telephones and PDAs as well as computers and peripherals can communicate with each other. The main purpose of Bluetooth is to replace cable connections between devices.
