After implementation, the company achieved a 35% improvement in pattern accuracy, eliminated channel collapse caused by uneven pressure, and significantly increased device yield. PDMS stamps also simplified alignment steps and allowed rapid iteration of new microfluidic designs. Today, flat PDMS stamps are widely used in soft lithography, microcontact printing, flexible electronics, optical sensors, bio-MEMS, cell-patterning systems, and nanoimprint preparation for semiconductor research.
