bitsIO welcomes Grey Dziuba as the Director of OT / IoT

Springfield, IL - 12/1/2025 - bitsIO is excited to announce the addition of Grey Dziuba as the new Director of OT / IoT. Grey brings more than 15 years of experience across the Operational Technology (OT) and Industrial IoT landscape, combining deep hands-on engineering expertise with a strong background in data, analytics, and cybersecurity.

Grey began his career as an Automation and Controls Engineer, supporting both process and discrete manufacturing environments across the southeastern United States. During this period, he helped deploy systems that would later be recognized under new industry terms such as IoT and IT/OT convergence.

"The team that I was working on was often implementing and deploying solutions that didn't have buzzwords to describe the changes to come. We were doing IoT and IT/OT convergence before there was a term for it," said Grey.

Grey went on to join Splunk, where he partnered with customers and integrators to demonstrate the value of Splunk within industrial environments. His work spanned predictive analytics, operational insights, and OT cybersecurity, enabling organizations to better utilize data for decision-making.

"Data is data. It only defines what type of data it is once you look at it," Grey noted.

Now at bitsIO, Grey will focus on expanding the company's OT practice, helping customers bridge the gap between IT and OT with Splunk-driven solutions. His vision goes beyond technology, emphasizing the broader role that industry plays in supporting people and communities.
