Schlaumik.de launches new math section for 3rd grade
Schlaumik.de is expanding its digital learning offerings: A comprehensive new section with interactive math exercises for 3rd grade is now available. The content is based on the Bavarian Curriculum PLUS, the educational standards of the Standing Conference of the Ministers of Education and Cultural Affairs of the L?nder (KMK) and selected international Common Core Standards.Schlaumik.de is expanding its offerings in the subject of mathematics and now offers a separate section for the 3rd grade. The new interactive exercises have been specially developed to meet the learning needs of children in the third grade and help them to master the transition to more complex arithmetic and thinking tasks. All exercises are curriculum-based and promote fundamental skills that are important for further education in elementary school and beyond.
The "Mathematics 3rd grade" section covers key topics such as the place value system up to 1,000 or 100,000, arithmetic laws and calculation strategies, mixed arithmetic, estimating and rounding as well as first encounters with fractions. In addition, the children work on tasks relating to quantities, time, money and lengths as well as logical thinking and patterns. The exercises are clearly structured, visually comprehensible and provide direct feedback - ideal for independent practice at home or as a supplement to lessons.
"Our aim is to provide children with a motivating yet technically sound approach to mathematics," explains Peter Spatar. "With digital, interactive exercises, we make learning paths visible, support individual support and make it easier for teachers and families to use modern, skills-oriented educational offers."
The new math section is aimed at pupils in Year 3, their parents and primary school teachers. It can be used flexibly in regular lessons, in remedial lessons, in homeschooling or for additional practice phases at home. Thanks to the clear structure according to topics and levels of difficulty, children can quickly find suitable tasks to consolidate what they have already learned or to work on new content step by step.
