Carlo's Bakery is a family-owned bakery famous for its appearance on the TLC show Cake Boss and for its custom-designed cakes and Italian pastries. Founded in Hoboken, New Jersey, in 1910 by Carlo Guastaferro, it was purchased by Bartolo "Buddy" Valastro Sr. in 1964 and is now run by his son, Buddy Valastro, along with his sisters and other family members. The business has grown from a neighborhood shop into a national franchise with multiple locations and nationwide shipping, a result of the popularity from the reality TV series
