TURBOdesign Suite 2025.2 - New Software Release

London, UK - November 21, 2025: ADT proudly announces the release of TURBOdesign Suite 2025.2, setting a new standard for turbomachinery design and optimization. This update is engineered to accelerate design workflows, deliver even more flexibility in optimization, and bridge the gap between engineering and real-world manufacturing.

TURBOdesign Suite 2025.2 brings a suite of features designed with today's engineers in mind. The new Reactive Response Surface (RRS) surrogate model re-run capability means teams can instantly explore trade-offs and refine their designs, without launching costly and time-consuming new simulations. By integrating tightly with industry-leading solvers including Siemens Simcenter Star-CCM+, ANSYS CFX, ANSYS Fluent and CADENCE Fine Turbo as well as unlocking complete workflow automation through a flexible new Python API, this release makes designing complex turbomachinery more efficient and collaborative than ever before.

Key Advancements in Automation and Integration
● Accelerated Design Exploration: The ability to instantly re-run the Reactive Response Surface (RRS) surrogate model for different objectives and constraints after generation, allowing engineers to rapidly explore the design space. Designers can now instantly evaluate trade-offs using RRS avoiding costly CFD re-runs.
● Seamless CAE Integration: Now supporting Cadence Fine Turbo and ANSYS Fluent alongside trusted names like Ansys CFX and Simcenter STAR-CCM+, TURBOdesign Suite 2025.2 gives engineers freedom in how they validate and delivers enhancements to the multi-point, multi-objective optimization framework.
● Powerful Automation: The new Python API offers complete control over design input and output, enabling robust scripted workflows and effortless scaling for large parametric studies which transforms the day-to-day experience by taking the heavy-lifting out of repetitive tasks.
● Concept Design and Accuracy: The latest enhancements in preliminary design include powerful new modules and refined data mining for loss models, especially in centrifugal compressors, mixed-flow fans, and waste water pumps. This ensures concept designs are on target, right from the start.

Prof. Mehrdad Zangeneh, Managing Director of ADT, reflected on the value of these improvements:
"This release is built on thoughtful feedback from our customers and our ongoing commitment to making complex engineering simpler and more productive. TURBOdesign Suite 2025.2 blends powerful inverse design-based machine learning with hands-on manufacturing features, supporting engineers every step of the way, from first ideas to the final product."
