deskMate introduces new "Prestart" feature for virtual IT-labs

Stuttgart/Germany, November 20, 2025 - Kivito GmbH, provider of the cloud-based training platform deskMate, is expanding its portfolio with a new feature tailored specifically to the needs of software training: deskMate Prestart. With this innovation, virtual IT-labs are automatically started and prepared during the night before the scheduled training begins.

In practice, this means that time consuming background tasks such as system updates, virus scans, or license renewals - which typically run during system boot-up and can consume valuable training time - are now completed automatically in advance. Participants can log in on the morning of the training to find a fully operational system ready to use without delay.
