Quantum technology can be divided into three categories from an application perspective: computation, communication, and encryption. Precision measurement mainly focuses on the direction of quantum computing. As the number of qubits increases, quantum computing power grows exponentially, far exceeding the exponential growth of traditional computer systems. Quantum computing mainly includes five technical routes: superconductivity, ion traps, optical quanta, semiconductor quantum dots, and neutral atoms. Among them, superconductive quantum computing is the most mature and widely studied implementation method, and the fastest progressing solution internationally.

A quantum computer consists of two main parts: hardware and software. The hardware structure of quantum computing can be divided into four levels: The "quantum data layer" where quantum bits are located; A "control and measurement layer" that operates and measures quanta as needed; The "control processor layer" which determines operations and algorithm sequences; The "main processor layer" used to handle network access to large storage arrays and user interfaces, which is connected to the control processor through high-speed broadband.

Quantum control system (QCS) mainly refers to the equipment that controls, measures, reads and feedbacks the results of quantum bits in real-time during the quantum computing process, also known as quantum computing measurement and control system. No matter how the volume and shape of quantum computers change, measurement and control systems will exist.

The application process of quantum control system in superconducting quantum computing is as follows: the measurement and control equipment can accept the gate circuit formula input of quantum computing, convert it into the RF waveform output (XY line) and magnetic flux output (Z line) of controlling superconducting quantum bits, achieve the purpose of manipulating quantum bits, and collect the state results of quantum bits through the measurement and control equipment. Based on the judgment results, the next calculation process is further completed.

In the quantum computing equipment industry, the core components mainly include cryogenic equipment, control systems, coaxial cables, cryogenic components, UHV cavities, lasers, single photon sources, and single photon detectors. In terms of enterprises, quantum computing equipment suppliers are mainly international companies, especially dilution refrigerants and cryogenic coaxial cables. In the quantum control system market, Chinese local companies have already occupied a certain market share, such as QuantumCTek Co., Ltd, Chengdu ZWDX, Beijing Naishu, Shenzhen SpinQ Technology, and Origin Quantum Computing Technology (Hefei) Co., Ltd. The control systems of these companies are not much different from those of international leading companies in terms of product performance, and may even reach a higher level. The major global manufacturers of Quantum Control System include Zurich Instruments (R&S), Keysight Technologies, Quantum Machines, QuantumCTek Co., Ltd, and Chengdu ZWDX etc. In 2024, the world's top three vendors accounted for approximately 67.1% of the revenue.
