Ski Race Academy Leitner and SKINION X (R) start development cooperation in the "Skin Performance Lab"

The Ski Race Academy Leitner and SKINION X (R) are entering into a strategic development partnership. The aim of the collaboration is to further develop performance-oriented protective clothing in alpine ski racing. The athletes of the Ski-Race Academy Leitner will be equipped with SKINION X (R) Protective First Layer with immediate effect and provide continuous feedback from training and competition.

It is also regarded as one of the leading addresses in European junior skiing. Under the direction of Christian Leitner, athletes are specifically prepared for the World Cup there. The performance data from this environment now flows systematically into the Skin Performance Lab - the research and development platform of SKINION X (R).

With its Protective First Layers, SKINION X (R) sets a new benchmark in the field of alpine protective clothing. The products combine skin abrasion and cut resistance in the first layer with high wearing comfort, breathability and freedom of movement. They are based on the H-PEA (R) high-performance fiber module and the H3D (R) knit architecture, which specifically reduces pressure and friction points.

The aim of the cooperation is to further develop the textile protection technology under real high-performance conditions. These include

* Reduction of skin abrasion and friction in high-speed training
* Improvement of the thermal and moisture-related microclimate
* Analysis of zone stress and movement intensity during racing
* Transferability to series production for extreme sporting and professional applications
