Toronto, Canada (VOICES.COM) April 21 – Phyllis K. Day, voice actor, technical writer and consultant, was the featured presenter this past week on the Voice Over Experts Podcast sponsored by Voices.com, the voice over marketplace. Voice Over Experts is the most downloaded and subscribed to educational podcast series for beginner and professional voice actors on the Internet.

In Phyllis’ podcast "The Layers of Your Voice”, students learn that there is more that goes into a performance than just a rehearsed and polished take. Listeners will find out how their lives outside of the studio could be affecting their voice acting performances behind the microphone. Phyllis’ specialty is stripping away negative emotional layers and built up stress surrounding the voice. As restricting physical tensions and emotional strains are eliminated, the freed, uninhibited vocal apparatus is able to help voice actors deliver their scripts with newfound confidence and authenticity.

As a regular contributor to the Voice Over Experts Podcast, Phyllis K. Day helps people to understand, develop and succeed in the exciting and opportune world of voice-overs online. The lectures assembled are an instant library of free voice acting lessons perfect for those just starting out and are a treasure trove of resources for established voice actors who want to refine their knowledge and skills from the privacy of their own home and at their own pace.

The Voice Over Experts Podcast can be found in the iTunes Podcast Directory and online at the Voices.com Podcast Center.
