Voices.com Selected As One Of Canada’s Top Small & Medium

(London, ON) April 25, 2017 - Voices.com has been announced as one of Canada’s Top Small & Medium Employers for 2017 by Mediacorp.

Companies included on this list are evaluated on criteria that includes their physical workplace, work atmosphere, benefits, vacation time, performance management, training and skills development, and community involvement.

Voices.com has strived to put their employees first in a dynamic, ever-changing work environment, most notable in their recent move to the company’s new 45,000 square foot headquarters in London, Ontario.

Kaitlyn Apfelbeck, Director of Human Resources at Voices.com, shares her insights on the award: “We're honoured to be recognized as a Top 100 Employer in Canada. It means we're making the right decisions and moving in the right direction in an ever changing era. As we grow we want to continue striving to enhance our people, technology and culture.”

As one of only three companies recognized in London, Ontario, Voices.com is proud to represent London.

“London has a booming tech industry, with a variety of great companies in it”, says Voices.com CEO David Ciccarelli. “I am happy that through recognition on this list, Voices.com can bring attention to the ongoing industry shift in our city and all that it means for the region.”

As one of the top employers of 2017, Voices.com is becoming one of the staples of the growing Canadian economy.
“SMEs play an outsized role in Canada’s economy,” says Anthony Meehan, Publisher at Mediacorp, the organization that manages the award. “Small and medium-sized employers are responsible for a large majority of the jobs created in the past decade, so it’s important that job-seekers be aware of the leading employers in this sector.”

The announcement of the honour, originally published in the print edition of the Globe and Mail and on Canada’s Top 100 website, acknowledges the importance of small businesses to the Canadian economy.
