B2B and B2C Research Projects
The initiative began with the Project #BlueWave, which included extensive on ground audits of more than 80% brand outlets within India that directly sold Crompton's products. By engaging the vendors across B2B and B2C channels, the respective project gathered insightful data related to distribution needs, customer expectations, and market gaps. This way of research and analysis laid a strong foundation for Crompton's refreshed retail strategy that perfectly balanced operational feasibility with consumer appeal.
Brand Identity Design: Premium Imagery
In order to elevate Crompton's market perception, it was crucial for the brand to achieve and establish a refined identity that projected quality and trust. To accomplish this, D'Art Design introduced a premium visual language for store fronts. The brand identity design integrated clean lines, sophisticated fascia treatments, and impactful pillar branding. The retail firm showcased star products through high quality imagery and perfectly aligned the facade design in a way that ensured brand recognition across various store formats and geographical regions.
This focus on premium imagery wasn't just intended to attract customer attention but to leave lasting impressions and strengthen long term brand recall.
Retail Identity Design: Masses to Classes
The retail identity was designed in a way that it perfectly resonated with Crompton's diverse customer base. From metro shoppers to customers from a small town, the stores now provide an inclusive yet aspirational shopping experience. The implemented product zoning, ambient LED lighting, and customized fixtures inside the store further add more visibility and promote engagement. The visual merchandising approach connects functionality with aspiration. Further creating spaces where customers can engage with products in a way that aligns with both practical needs and lifestyle aspirations.
Turnkey Retail Rollout - 2K Stores
Executing the respective retail transformation project across different locations and store formats required a single point, turnkey model. The retail transformation project included an engagement strategy as well. D'Art Design took on this responsibility as well and delivered the #SwitchToSave campaign in Mumbai. It was an experiential exhibition that majorly highlighted the energy saving benefits of Crompton's BLDC fans. The executed design featured interactive product displays, educational panels that compared the energy consumption, and a dedicated press meet area to facilitate media and trade interactions.
To make the entire event more engaging and interactive, D'Art Design also implemented a specially designed photobooth that included creative perspectives and product motifs. This did not just appeal to the eyeballs of potential customers but also encouraged users to participate and share their experience, further extending the campaign's visibility online.
The main motive of structuring this event was to connect economic savings with environmental responsibility and reinforce Crompton's message of sustainability.
