Press release from: Assmann Electronic GmbH

DC-11802

DC-11802

The 2 port USB KVM change over switch DC-11802 from DIGITUS® supports a DVI-D monitor connection and audio transmission in the mini format and is therefore the ideal KVM change over switch for the "living room PC".

The replacement of the analog VGA standard by digital DVI transmission technology has taken place explosively. The option of playing back digital pictures and films on modern television sets is a great advantage for the user. Only a DVI to HDMI adapter is required to do this.

Because of the existence of several PCs in the household and because of the new task of PCs as a media centre in the living room, there is a steadily increasing demand for KVM change over switches which can take care of these new tasks.

These requirements are met by the DIGITUS® USB Pocket KVM DC-11802 in an elegant, exclusive design of the highest quality. Simple installation without extra software guarantees the Hot Plug & Play and Hot-Swap for the operating systems Windows from 98SE to Vista and 2003 Server as well as Mac and Linux.

The PC selection is made via Hot-Key or Push-Button. Both DDC ands also DDC2 monitors are supported with an excellent picture quality of up to 1920 x 1080 pixels (full HD) at 60Hz.

Audio IN/OUT is separately switchable and the keyboard and mouse simulation provide error free booting of the computer. The power supply is via USB and saves the user from having to connect an external power supply.

The change over switch, including cables for two PCs is immediately available in the shops.

The recommended price for the Mini USB KVM Switch DC-11802 is 49,90€.
